How It Works

Step 1:

Once we receive your request, a travel planner will reach out to schedule a call with you so that we can learn about what you envision for your trip, as well as your travel style and preferences.

Step 2:

We’ll use that information to create the first draft of your itinerary. The corresponding email will be full of informative points, such as why we chose one scenario over another, or, if there’s a specific item that’s taking up a large portion of the budget (and why it’s important to keep that item or how to work around it.)

step 3:

Talk over the email with your travel partner(s). Tell us what you like about the itinerary and what you don’t like about the itinerary. Let us know if you have any questions or comments.

Step 4:

We’ll use your feedback to create the next draft, repeating steps 2, 3 and 4 until your itinerary is perfect!

Step 5:

Once confirmed, we’ll make all of the corresponding bookings.

Step 6:

Prior to departure we’ll send you a physical folder with your detailed itinerary and all of the necessary vouchers, confirmations and tickets. We’ll also include restaurant suggestions, suggestions from our personal travels for things to see and do beyond your scheduled tours, and Trotter Tools. Trotter Tools is your practical destination guide, which includes basic country information, tipping information, do’s and don’ts, as well as a bit of language (because everyone loves when you try to speak their language - even if you butcher it!)

We’ll go over the itinerary with you, answering any final questions that you have, and making sure that you feel confident and prepared!
